         <description><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for the informative post.  The takeaway is, in my opinion, your comment about a balanced civil justice system.  These efforts are attempts to strip that balance from the system, and remove the credibility and damages judge--the jury--from the equation.  </p>

<p>I wrote about  the Oklahoma tort "reform" bills  from the perspective of malpractice entitlements, which I think tort "reform" really is: a way to provide the entitlement to medical professionals to provide substandard care.  I'd be interested in your feedback: </p>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I couldn't agree more. This is the worst thing that could happen to OK citizens.  If this would have been in place previously my sister would have received a fraction of what she deserved and received when a negligent doctor nearly killed her.  Worst part is she still suffers health issues to this day.</p>]]></description>
